What a wonderful group of educational leaders I met today! ;-)
When they were asked what they would do if they had fewer employees to be responsible for and thus more time for the ones they have – the majority replied that they would be doing less administrative work and have more time to be educational leaders! :-)
A very good start is to let creative activities become islands of good examples which can eventually spread through out the entire school or school system.
We are challenged to take charge of our operational units and now we know that it is more about HOW I, as a leader, implement and lead the change management! As leaders we need to have competences in change management and in creating good relationships with our employees. This in order to make it possible to review the different phases of change management and to create the conditions needed for education of today and tomorrow!
